Eligibility
- Student must be a senior athlete, manager or trainer currently participating in the Lovejoy High School softball program.
- Student must attend an accredited college or university within a year after graduating from LHS.
- Student must complete and submit the Grand Slam Booster Club Scholarship application by deadline.
- Parent of student must be a member of the Grand Slam Booster Club as of March 15th, 2012.
- All applications must be received by April 7th, 2012 in order to be eligible
- If the student is receiving a Full Ride by the College or University, they are not eligible to receive the scholarship. Full Ride is defined as receiving scholarship monies from the university/college that cover 100% of tuition, school fees, food and housing, and books.
Scholarship Award
The maximum award is $100 per year of participation in the LHS softball program as a player, manager or trainer up to a total of $400. Award will be paid directly to an accredited college or university and must be requested by the recipient. Recipient must submit the name and mailing address of the college or university and other information required by the college/university in order for scholarship to be credited to their student account.
